  2. When my little brother and I eat ice cream:

(cue in both of us quietly humming the Pirates of The Caribbean main theme )

Me: YOU’RE MINE PEANUT BUTTER CUP.
Faun: -knocks it off my spoon-
Me: I can’t do all the mining while you reap the benefits!
    Faun: Watch. Me.

Battle of spoons commence. Still humming Hans Zimmer score…

Me: Ughhhhh, I dug for it thooooo. FINE. If I can’t have it, then NO ONE CAN. -starts crushing it with spoon-
Faun: Evasive drilling strategy! -stabs center of the pint, begins twirling spoon-
Me: Oo! Oo! MINE HERE. I THINK WE’RE HITTING CARAMEL DEPOSITS.
Faun: OH GOD. THE SOUTH MINE HAS JUST COLLAPSED.

  5. THINGS THAT SPEAK TO ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT | Recipe “Rawsome healthy Mango Banana Ice Cream”

    goodmood-food:

    Ingredients

2 frozen bananas (peeled, cubed and frozen)
1 frozen mango (peeled, cubed and frozen)
    5 medjool dates (pitted)
    2 Tbsp raw honey
    1 avocado
1 pinch saffron, dissolved in 1 tsp of warm water
    1/2 tsp natural almond extract
    1 tsp natural vanilla extract
    1 tsp coconut oil
    2 Tbsp coconut milk
    1 pinch cinnamon
    1 pinch cardamon

    How to do

Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend well (you need a fairly powerful blender, if it can break ice, then it will work). Pour the concoction in a thick glass container, cover and freeze overnight. Half an hour before you eat or serve the ice cream, move the container to the fridge. Scoop and serve with berries, walnuts, almonds or Baileys (this will make it a little less raw and healthy but go for it if it makes you happy on a Saturday afternoon).

     why can’t everything be mangos?

  6. NSFW Food Porn | Dripping caramel in all of its gooey wondrous glory to Mozart’s Lacrimosa.

Because the heavens sing and angels cry whenever caramel is dripped on to anything and you all know it.

Teaser for chocolate frozen yogurt recipe with strawberries, waffle pieces, marshmallow fluff and caramel (half of said recipe lies within the title anyway) bc I just don’t have the time to sift through photos―priorities, midterms, sanity, etc.

  7. Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe with Strawberries, Waffle Cone Pieces, Caramel & Marshmallow Fluff

    Batter Ingredients:
    2 cups cream
    1 cup milk
2 big tablespoons of pain greek yogurt
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 itty bitty pinch of salt
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar (add more if you would like the batter to be sweeter)

Whisk ingredients till smooth and refrigerate for approx 2 hours.

Pour in mixture into ice cream maker and let batter churn until it gets thick. Then slowly add mixing ingredients.

     Mixing ingredients
    1 cup diced fresh strawberries
    1 cup crushed waffle cone
Caramel & Marshmallow fluff added as desired

Take a spoon and carefully assist the mixture to churn because it will get difficult to mix by itself when you the toppings. Add caramel and marshmallow fluff in small gobs. Take mixture out of the ice cream maker when you have the right ratio & consistency of ice cream to desired toppings and pour into a plastic tub! (reusing containers is a smart idea for ice creams storage. Our plastic salsa tub works great!)

put mixture in the freezer for an hour, take it out, mix the ingredients and place it in the freezer again for another 2 hours and you’ve got yourself a home made tub of ice cream!
